Andrina Däppen
violon, backing vocals
The violin is both Andrina’s passion and favorite means of expression. With a degree in classical music from the Bern University of the Arts, she puts her talent to work in new musical horizons. She is a member of the duo Desdëa, Duo Aluna, Ensemble Das seltene Orchester and the collective Kandáleko.

Loreen Nilou Haesler
double bass, vocals
Loreen is a fire dancer and bassist. Mostly focused on Balkan and Turkish music, she is a member of the soul band Balaclava and also plays electric bass and double bass in klezmer and jazz formations. With the band Selveya, she can also incorporate elements of her first musical passion,
classical music. She was born in Geneva, studied in Basel and lives in Bern.

Joscha Frey
Hackbrett, backing vocals
At the age of nine, Joscha saw a hackbrett player in the streets of Italy. Since then, the fascination for this instrument has never left them. They studied at the conservatory in Bern, where they later taught themself. With their Balfolk duo Hakk & Akk, they are at the forefront of the debate on the further development of folk music and its mediation with other cultures. Joscha also plays Balkan music in other projects.
